BELO

In July 2007 I went to the village of Belo in Cameroon to work with an NGO. During my time there I painted almost every day and on my return to Barcelona the idea formed of producing this book. Included along with anecdotes and reflections on life in this African village are all of the 22 paintings.
    These paintings are now available in limited editions of sixty, numbered, Fine Art Giclée prints, each one signed by the artist. High resolution scans of the original paintings have been checked for fidelity to the originals and printed onto Hahnemühle Torchon, a finely textured 280 gram, 100% cotton Art Paper, using Giclée Ultrachrome K3 inks by Epson. The prints are 20% larger than the original paintings and the high quality of the printing process makes them virtually impossible to distinguish from the originals.
    40% of all proceeds from sales go to La Fuente Foundation, an arts and education programme empowering young people through art.
